Additional Information
Jesse Hall, built in 1893, is MU's main administration building. It is constructed of red pressed brick and Bedford limestone set in red mortar, with an elongated dome and Corinthian-columned porticos. The Columns, located at the center of Francis Quadrangle, are all that remain of the original Academic Hall, destroyed by fire in 1892. Academic Hall was the University of Missouri's first building, built in 1841.
